My 3 Day Novel experiences are always different from what they are supposed to look like. I start early and end early, still keeping a 72 hour period, but not in keeping with normal parameters. I don’t even always write a novel.
This weekend has been the most crazy out of the three times I’ve committed to setting aside time to write. My chunk of time has been reduced by the necessity of attending a funeral tomorrow morning and a wedding tomorrow afternoon. Still, I’m writing when I can and am trusting God’s timing in these things.
I’m wrapping uo my first day (the offical contest starts at Midnight). The plan was for me to be at a friend’s cabin during the weekend, but I won’t be able to get there until Sunday afternoon. One of my friends was able to write with my at my house for part of the day which was nice.
At this point, I’m more than half way through the first draft of my play, and I’m really enjoying it. My hope for the rest of my time is to finish the first draft and then compete outline and prep for my next planned novel. We’ll see how it goes.
A nice highlight from today was my consultation date with my husband. He knew I was disappointed not to be at the cabin, so he took me to menchies.
We got the new spoon celebrating the Pan movie. It’s epic. ( The spoon. I don’t know about the movie.)
