I’ve been involved with theatre since I was eight years old, starting out with the auspicious beginning of running off the stage crying during my first recital.Since then I’ve played many roles, most notably Nerissa from The Merchant of Venice, Beth from The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice, and Lady Bracknell from The Importance of Being Earnest. In 2009 I shifted gears and became the artistic director for Players of the Stage. It’s been my great privilege to direct many shows and work with many wonderful students. In addition to directing, I also have adapted several books for our performances and written four original plays: To the Virgins, The Letter H, Rifton Diner, and Love Labors Happily Ever After. I believe that theatre is a powerful way to communicate truth. It is my hope to be involved with the art for the rest of my life- and afterwards too!
